Terms & Conditions
Welcome to The Mixer Hub (“Mixer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, browsing as a guest where allowed, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. See also our Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
The Mixer Hub is a platform for discovering and hosting local events, joining community Spaces, messaging, finding education programs, and using Advaizor AI for career and education guidance.
2. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with a parent or guardian’s consent where required by law.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration information and for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You must not share your account or use another person’s account without permission.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for other users or the Service.
3. The Service
Subject to these Terms, Mixer may provide features such as:
- Events — browse, create, RSVP, invite guests, manage attendance, and related calendar or meeting integrations you choose to connect.
- Spaces (communities) — create or join public or private communities, post content, invite members, and manage community settings according to your role.
- Messaging & inbox — communicate with other users through available messaging features.
- Advaizor AI — AI-assisted chat for career, education, and related guidance. Outputs are informational and may be inaccurate; they are not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.
- Programs & planner — tools to explore education programs and related planning features.
Features may change, be limited by region, require authentication, or depend on third-party services (for example Google, Zoom, or LinkedIn) that you authorize separately.
4. Your content & conduct
You retain ownership of content you submit (posts, event details, images, messages, and similar). You grant Mixer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and improve the Service.
You agree not to:
- Post unlawful, harmful, harassing, hateful, fraudulent, or infringing content.
- Misrepresent events, Spaces, identity, or affiliations.
- Spam, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service or other users’ access.
- Upload malware or attempt unauthorized access to systems or data.
- Use Advaizor AI or other features to generate content that violates applicable law or these Terms.
Hosts and Space admins are responsible for the events and communities they manage, including who they invite and what they publish.
5. Events & third-party interactions
Mixer helps people discover and organize gatherings. We are not a party to agreements between hosts and attendees, do not guarantee that an event will occur as described, and are not responsible for on-site conduct, safety, tickets sold outside our Service, or disputes between users unless required by law. Use good judgment when meeting people or attending events.
6. Third-party services
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party products (maps, OAuth login, calendars, video meetings, program data providers, and similar). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Mixer is not responsible for third-party availability, content, or practices.
7. Intellectual property
The Mixer Hub name, logos, UI, and software (excluding your content) are owned by Mixer or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our branding or software except as allowed by these Terms or with prior written permission.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that AI outputs will be accurate or suitable for your decisions.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MIXER AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100, IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms, if we must do so for legal or security reasons, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive termination.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where applicable law requires additional notice or consent.
12. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent through the in-app feedback options or the support contact provided on The Mixer Hub.
